So I just got the game and played through a few campaign levels...

The character movements felt very clunky, and the aiming was mediocre at best. Then I went online and found that every could teleport like in a bad-host game of CoD:WaWii.

Please tell me it gets better. =/

Have you adjusted anything yet? I'm going to make mine as MoH-like as possible when I get it.

i adjusted the aiming, dead zone, sensitivity, controls, pretty much everything. took around 20 minutes to get it to how i like it. campaign just annoyed me so i played 2 levels then went online. it's laggy as hell, worse than moh for me, but i still find it enjoyable just because its something new. i just went above 2-1 for the first time in a game (20- Cool

and it is getting better gameplay was as i learn how to play it better. but i agree, the aiming is very awkward and it does, as expected, like like hell.

I was hoping for something better but I think I miss three things from CoD WaW
1. Number of people. As boring as it may have seemed 8 people was just enough for me to do stuff without being double teamed so easily.
2. Bullet velocity. Pfft you thought we had to lag shoot in that? This you can actually see the bullets completely missing. It's hard to get any long distance shot.
3. Damage/ health. I liked the idea of fighting it out really hard but really this adds on to my above complaint. I'll hit a guy like 5 times half way across the map but he's still alive and manages to make it into a building.

I really hope we can practice and play in parties because I need smart teammates to do good. I've been keeping a positive K/D each match but god I can't be rambo in this like I used to in WaW.

I played a few levels last night and thought the campaign was very clean "golden eye-ish" , despite some of the dumb enemies.

Adjusted my controls and love it. (You can adjust you run speed if you haven't seen that option yet)

Online - I haven't tried it yet but I will tonight.

Yeah, I adjusted everything. I haven't played online since I made this topic, but I'll give it another go.

a few things i've noticed. SCAR scope is a two burst headshot kill if you aim and it registers them both. when reloading a shotty (probably other guns too, but have yet to try) if you get attacked you can cut off the reload and start shooting. this is very useful with the spas-12. radiation nades are good to retreat with. you get double teamed just throw one at your feet and run, you'll recharge health, reload and be ready. stuns/flash are great before you rush someone. frags are good to throw after an mp5 clip to kill instead of switching to your other gun.

I gave it several hours and the online was awful every single game. And I cant believe that you cant play pub matches with your friends. That is why I play the games. I am done with it.

Me and Slayin just played in a pub together, but we were on opposite teams.

Undr, I just had a great series of private matches with Dru, Ress, Red, Slayin, and Astro/Bomb, so I urge you to play a few friend matches before giving up. It was great, and now TCon is growing on me.

I really hate private matches bud. I understand their necessity for clan practice and so on but I can promise you that they would only have the opposite effect on me. I know that most of you were not with me long enough to remember me playing with my son in MOH. But I have two wiis and bought two versions on the game just so I could enjoy playing with him again. In WaW he lasted only until he got the 360 version of the game for the obvious reasons. So I have been waiting for this game for that one reason and its the one thing that no adjusting of the controls can fix. I dont really care if I can play well and he is playing very well so far. So you can imagine what a kick in the groin this is for me. In addition, my NEXT favorite thing was playing in public matches with long time friends like you, Dope, Dru, and Tada and I can't do that either.

so i've been playing around with the melees in this game. they work like in halo (not sure if that means anything to you though). basically, you need to do a bit of damage first, and then melee for the kill. its usually 1-2 shotgun shots, half a clip of mp5, 1 burst of SCAR, i could go on, but you get the idea.

Yeah, joining a public match with a friend is very difficult. I'm sorry that it's making you dislike the game. Maybe after the servers can catch up to the ammount of players, it'll work better.

And, Dru, I like the game now. I recently played in a FFA with AstroTEC and got four melees in a row. goo

You gonna host another game tonight? If you do, let me know and I'll join. Last night was awesome.
